We were here for a fundraiser in December and finally had the chance to return for dinner. A Small, rustic restaurant/wine bar located in a village away from the high traffic tourist enclaves. The part time owner/server/sommelier/wine distributor Antonio is a gem. His unpretentious knowledge and selection of Portuguese wine from smaller producers provides for a great experience on its own, add in the creative and well prepared food this place is a must visit. Duck Croquettes, Quail Piri-Piri, Iberian Pork Lardo on toast, and a three cheese selection made for a fabulous meal. And of course the wine recommendations were a big hit!
